Jenna Feeney’s journey into the world of music began at an early age. At just six years old, she penned her first song, a poignant testament to a budding passion for creating music. Growing up, Jenna honed her musical skills, singing in the school choir and nurturing her songwriting talent. By her teenage years, she had embraced her artistic expression with renewed vigor.
Driven by an innate desire to share her music with the world, Jenna took the leap into the digital realm at fifteen. She began posting her original songs on YouTube, captivating audiences with her raw talent and infectious enthusiasm. Recognizing her daughter’s burgeoning passion, her parents gifted her a guitar, empowering her to bring her own compositions to life.
Jenna seized every opportunity to perform, captivating audiences with her undeniable stage presence. Her confidence and grace were evident, leaving a lasting impression on those who witnessed her performances.
A pivotal moment arrived in the fall of 2014, when a talent scout, drawn to her YouTube videos, reached out to Jenna. This fortuitous encounter led to a collaboration with renowned singer/songwriter/producer Shannon McArthur. Together with Adam B Smith at The Evil 8-Bit Robot Factory in Nashville, Tennessee, they embarked on a creative journey, recording four songs that would comprise Jenna’s debut EP, “Truth.”
In the spring of 2016, Jenna returned to Nashville to continue her musical exploration, collaborating once more with McArthur and Smith on her second project, “Beautiful Mess.” This collection of songs delved into the complexities of human emotion, exploring themes of love, heartbreak, and the liberating spirit of self-discovery.
Jenna’s musical journey continued to evolve. In 2018, she released the single “Cigarette,” produced by the legendary Mark Bryan of Hootie & the Blowfish, showcasing her versatility and artistic growth.
Jenna’s songwriting style is a unique blend of country influences with a distinct pop/alt twist. Drawing inspiration from acclaimed artists like Taylor Swift, Kelsea Ballerini, and Phoebe Bridgers, she crafts songs that resonate deeply with audiences, reflecting real-life experiences with raw honesty and vulnerability.
In 2019, Jenna graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management, further solidifying her understanding of the music industry. Following a period of professional growth in the Charleston radio industry and continued live performances, Jenna made the bold move to Nashville in 2021, immersing herself in the heart of the country music scene.
