OSCAR WINNER JEFF BRIDGES JOINS
27TH ANNUAL OLD SETTLER’S MUSIC FESTIVAL
30 Acts to Appear on Four Stages at Four-Day Texas Hill Country Event
AUSTIN,
Texas — Oscar-winning actor and musician Jeff Bridges and his band, the
Abiders, will join a red carpet-worthy lineup of talent performing at
the 27th annual Old Settler’s Music Festival, April 10-13 at the Salt
Lick Pavilion and Camp Ben McCulloch in Driftwood, Texas. Bridges and
his band — named, of course, after the phrase uttered by his iconic Dude
character in “The Big Lebowski” — joins the list of 30 top-notch
performers slated to appear on four stages in this beautiful hill
country setting south of Austin.
Bridges,
who earned an Academy Award for his portrayal of musician Bad Blake in
the film “Crazy Heart” — which featured a Grammy-winning soundtrack
co-produced by Texans T Bone Burnett and the late Stephen Bruton —
released his self-titled, Burnett-produced solo album on Blue Note
Records in 2011.
