Special Radio Mix Slated for National Adds On July 23
Deer Park, TX(July 17, 2012) — A-Blake Records and Smith Music Group announce Jason Cassidy’s latest single, “Ride of Your Life,“* will be released nationally on July 23, 2012. The new radio version of “Ride,“
which was recorded and mixed at Rosewood Studios in Tyler, Texas for a
faster, more driving feel, is being promoted nationally by the team at Instigator Entertainment out of Nashville, Tenn. “Ride“ was released to Texas radio three weeks ago and has already climbed to the #64 spot on the Texas Regional Radio Report. The special remix is available on CDX #549 and for purchase on iTunes and all popular digital outlets.
Written by Cassidy, Jody Booth and Doug DeForest, “Ride of Your Life“ is an invigorating, feel-good tune with rapid-fire lyrics that are sure to be hit as summer gets underway.
“We were throwing around lyrics for a summer party song when ‘Ride’ came about,” says Cassidy. “I
went into the studio last month to re-record for a quicker start that
grabs the listener and brings them into the party with the first guitar
lick. The radio remix is way more rockin’ and works better with our
energetic live shows too. Welcome to summer 2012!”
Known for his “honky tonk with an edge” brand of country, Cassidy burst onto the national scene last fall as Paradigm Nashville, GrassRoots Promotion, AristoMedia, Billboard Country Update, Music Row and many inside the Nashville community fell in love with Cassidy’s pure country vocal and musical style.
Cassidy’s studio recording, MY REDEMPTION, was released on A-Blake Records in October of 2011. Previous singles from the album include the #1 Texas hit “Honky Tonk Heaven” (Texas Regional Radio Report), and the most recent Top 10 smash “What If.” The accompanying music video for “What If,” directed by Nashville’s Potsy Ponciroli, claimed the #1 spot on the CMT Pure 12-Pack Countdown and resided in the show’s Top 10 for nearly five months after its January debut.
Cassidy, who is currently in Las Vegas for several performances at Gilley’s, is promoting “Ride“with
appearances on local TV shows and at radio stations throughout the
