Aldean’s Annual Event Benefitting Susan G. Komen®

Puts The Focal Point On Louisville’s

THEY DON’T KNOW TOUR Stop

NASHVILLE, TN – Oct. 23, 2017 – As an avid supporter towards the fight against breast cancer, two-time and reigning ACM “Entertainer of the Year” Jason Aldean brought his annual “Concert For The Cure” to Friday night’s (10/20) THEY DON’T KNOW TOUR
stop at Louisville, KY’s KFC YUM Center. Featuring special guests Chris
Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver, the night highlighted Aldean’s
longstanding partnership with Susan G. Komen® as he donated a portion
from all ticket sales garnered throughout the year to Komen® Kentucky.
Since the inaugural event in 2004, Aldean’s efforts have raised more
than $3.6 million to benefit Susan G. Komen®chapters across the country.

“These
women and their families are fighters,” said Aldean. “We’ve been having
them backstage every night for the last couple years now and I’ve heard
their stories first-hand. We’re going to keep fighting with them until
there’s no more breast cancer.”

“We
are so appreciative of Jason’s gift, which will help us to continue
providing resources for those affected by breast cancer in our
community,” said Lynda Weeks, Executive Director of Susan G. Komen®
Kentucky. “This funding will be invested in furthering research and
patient services across the Commonwealth. In addition to the generous
donation, the Concert for the Cure provided an impactful venue, which
allowed us reach thousands with critical facts about breast cancer,
including symptoms and screening. Our sincerest thanks go out to Jason
Aldean for his support of our mission!”

RIAA’s top digital Country Male Artist of all time is “the mirror image of his fans” (Rolling Stone)
as his most recent album THEY DON’T KNOW follows each album release
earning PLATINUM certification or better, tallying more than 15 million
total album sales and 19 No. One hits. The longevity of his career
reached new heights as he debuted at the No. One position on Billboard’s
all-genre Top 200 Album chart for the third consecutive time. His
recent message of unity and powerful cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back
Town” on NBC‘s Saturday Night Live from Oct.
7 is available across many digital retailers and streaming services as
all proceeds raised will go towards the Direct Impact Fund to benefit
victims of the Las Vegas shooting. In addition to his THEY DON’T KNOW
TOUR, the “reigning Entertainer of the Year shows why he holds the
title” (Newsday) as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum showcases
a special exhibit “Jason Aldean: Asphalt Cowboy,” commemorating his
wide-open sound that has been one of the defining influences on today’s
Country Music. For more information and for a full list of upcoming tour
