Nashville, TN. – March 7, 2011 – ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee Jason Aldean will extend his 2011 MY KINDA PARTY tour into the summer, with special guests Chris Young and Thompson Square. After selling over 154,000 thousand tickets to the first leg’s 14 dates so far, the tour will pick up on July 8 in Milwaukee, WI with more shows to be announced over the coming weeks.

“Feels like this first leg just got started…we’re only warming up!” said Aldean. “It’ll be nice to stop in some places we haven’t been since the new record came out. I’m really looking forward to having Chris and Thompson Square out with us too.  Both are on a roll right now, so it’ll be a great time!”

Lexington, KY’s Rupp Arena hosted Aldean Saturday night for its biggest crowd in over six years and Aldean’s biggest career headlining show with over 18,000 fans. Of the live show, The Lexington Herald-Leader said, “…watching a young indie country act smoke all major name competitors at the box and earn such an easygoing and complete trust with an audience of this size was an honest thrill.”

Recently nominated for his first GRAMMY Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance with his hit, “Gettin’ You Home,” Chris Young has emerged as a fan-favorite with three consecutive No. ones at radio. His third release, NEON, featuring the hot new single, “Tomorrow,” is set to release this summer.

Thompson Square, burst on to the country music scene with the release of their self-titled debut album earning the No. three spot on the Top Country Albums chart.  Their infectious hit single, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” has reached the Top five spot on iTunes Country Singles chart and on the country radio charts.
