Lamitschka:
Music has many new fans throughout Europe who may be hearing about
you for the first time. How would you describe yourself and the music
you play to someone who has never seen or heard you?

MULCH BROTHERS:
COUNTRY/SOUTHERN ROCK WITH SOME AMERICANA ROOTS. WE PUT ON A HIGH
ENERGY FUN LIVE SHOW.

Lamitschka:  How
was the last year for you? What were your highlights?

MULCH BROTHERS:
THINGS HAVE BEEN GOING VERY WELL FOR US SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THIS
YEAR (2013) WE HAVE SIGNED A NEW RECORD DEAL WITH EFG ENTERTAINMENT

is your latest CD and how’s it doing?

Answer:  WE ARE
GETTING READY TO RELEASE OUR NEW EP “NEXT OF KIN” IN EARLY

UP DAISIES” WHICH IS NOW AVAILABLE ON ITUNES AND HAS BEEN WELL
RECEIVED AT COUNTRY RADIO HERE IN THE STATES.

Lamitschka:  How
did you choose the title for the CD?  Is there a story behind
the name?

MULCH BROTHERS:
WE CALL OURSELVES “BROTHERS FROM DIFFERENT MOTHERS” AND
ALWAYS TRY TO MAKE EVERYONE AROUND US FEEL LIKE THEY’RE PART OF THE
MULCH FAMILY OUR “NEXT OF KIN”

Lamitschka:  Do
you write the songs yourself? If not, how do you go about finding the
songs for your CD?

MULCH BROTHERS:
YES WE WRITE AND/OR CO-WRITE ALL OF OUR SONGS.

Lamitschka:  What
will your next single be?

MULCH BROTHERS:
WE’RE PRETTY SURE THE NEXT SINGLE OF THE EP WILL BE A SONG CALLED “I
AIN’T EVER COMIN’ BACK” ANOTHER HIGH ENERGY COUNTRY ROCKIN’ SONG
LIKE “PUSHIN’ UP DAISIES”

much creative control do you have over your music?

MULCH BROTHERS:
WE’RE VERY LUCKY TO HAVE A LABEL LIKE EFG WHO HAS GIVEN US COMPLETE
AND TOTAL CREATIVE CONTROL OF OUR MUSIC.

BECAUSE IT’S WIDE OPEN NOW BECAUSE OF THE INTERNET AND IT’S ACTUALLY
GOING BACK TO SOME OLD SCHOOL STUFF BY MAKING TOURING VERY IMPORTANT
