Christian Lamitschka: I’m Christian Lamitschka and today I present you Leah Seawright. Leah, welcome to the show.
Leah Seawright: Thank you for having me. I’m excited to be here.
Christian Lamitschka: Leah, could you please introduce yourself to our piers who might be hearing about you for the first time and what kind of music you are playing?
Leah Seawright: Well I’m Leah Seawright and I’m a country artist. We do all genre of country, we the rocking country, we do a little throw back to old country. I have a great appreciation to all country music. I’m definitely a country artist, you could probably tell that by talking to you.
Christian Lamitschka: Folks, she’s a country music artist and she has out a single called “On The Back Roads”. Tell us about this great song.
Leah Seawright: “On The Back Roads” is a song that I wrote about the wild teenage years; I don’t know if you went through those or not. It’s about riding around on the back roads, young, carefree and a kind of rebellious a little bit. We’re about to do a video for this single. We are excited about it, because I don’t know if you guys know about NASCAR.
Christian Lamitschka: Oh yes, we call it Formula One, but we know a lot about NASCAR.
Leah Seawright: Yea, we got a NASCAR driver named AJ Allmendinger. I think he finished 11th at the Daytona Race. He drives for Richard Petty Enterprises. We are excited about that. We’ve got a bran new video coming out.
Christian Lamitschka: Cool! I said before I don’t have the whole album in my hand, but we will talk about this album. How many songs does it have it and what is your personal favorite song on it?
Leah Seawright: Oh my goodness, there are 14 tracks on the album. Thirteen songs that I wrote and it’s like picking out a favorite child. I can’t really pick a favorite song on the album. Right now I’m gonna say “On The Back Road”. I love them all. I can be inspired by just every day life. Stuff that everybody goes through. I try to make my music very relateable so when you listen to it, you’ve gone through that, maybe you can relate to it. But it’s a great album, we’re very proud of it.
Christian Lamitschka: I know you are not single, you are married to a great guy. Isn’t he a little bit jealous if you are always on the road?
Leah Seawright: No he’s with me good bit of the time. He believes what I supposed to do and he’s behind me 100%.
