Interview with Julie Ingram
by Christian Lamitschka for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show
Christian Lamitschka: I’m Christian Lamitschka and today I present you Julie Ingram. Julie welcome to the show.
Julie Ingram: Thank you so much and welcome to America!
Christian Lamitschka: Thanks. We met each other the last time during Fan Fair and there’s such a lot of things going on since that time we met each other. Can you tell us a little about you?
Julie Ingram: It’s been a whirl wind for me. After “Keep On Believing” came out, which did very well. I don’t know if you recall “Anytime Anywhere” and “Place Called Love” were exceptional on the charts a year a go. Just two years ago, that’s when I started recording the new album.
Christian Lamitschka: Folk that you see about which album we are talking about, isn’t it a sexy octave sign for a CD? I love it!
Julie Ingram: That’s a swimsuit cover up, everybody thinks it’s a dress.
Christian Lamitschka: There are a lot of songs on this album, which is your personal favorite?
Julie Ingram: “Mom And Dad”, it’s a tribute to my mom and dad. It’s still the one I cannot perform or get through, because I cry. I don’t know if that’s a positive or not. The newest release of course “The Way A Man Behaves” is the upbeat I’m very partial to as well. It just makes you feel good and I probably worked harder orchestrated wise of any other song we did it in every type of style you can imagine.
Christian Lamitschka: Julie, there is so much news I hear about you, can you share it with us?
Julie Ingram: Upcoming goodness that I don’t know? It’s possible, we are going on tour, exceptionally soon. That’s what I always wanted to do. I will fly unless we can always drive the bus of course. I have had performances, it’s even better when you get to sing for the President of the United States. I’ve got a lot of military performances coming up, which I’m partial to, I love the troops, of course that touches me more than anything.
