Interview with Chelsea Musick

Christian Lamitschka: What’s the best compliment a fan has ever given you?
Chelsea Musick: I am honored when people come up to me and tell me how much they enjoy my music…but the best thing someone has said to me is “Thank you for being a positive role model to teens and being yourself”  It’s so awesome to know that people appreciate who I am as a person as well as my music.
Christian Lamitschka: What can your fans expect to see when they see you in concert?
Chelsea Musick: My fans should expect to see an energetic show filled with a positive and fun message! 🙂
Christian Lamitschka: When you get time off, how do you like to relax?
Chelsea Musick: During my time off I love to song-write and hang out with my family and friends. I really love the out doors, so doing yard work or just having fun outside is something I love to do. If the weather isn’t great outside then I love to clean. 🙂
Christian Lamitschka:Â How much creative control do you have over your music?
Chelsea Musick: I feel like I have a lot of creative control. Since I am an Indie artist, I have a lot of say in my music. I love to hear someone else’s opinion and advice on things… but I have a lot of control.
Christian Lamitschka: Who’s your biggest critic, yourself or others?
Chelsea Musick: I feel like I’m my biggest critic. Sometimes I feel like I can be super hard on myself. I know that I can’t be perfect, but I try to do my best.
Christian Lamitschka: What inspired you to become an artist?
Chelsea Musick: I’ve always had such a love for music ever since I was really little. I would watch people LeAnn Rimes, Trisha Yearwood & Amy Grant…
and they would inspire me to get on the stage and do what they are doing.Â
Christian Lamitschka: What inspired you to become a songwriter?
Chelsea Musick: I feel like life and different things that I’ve gone through inspire me to song write. It’s a great way for me to get my feelings out.  My fans also inspire me to keep writing new music. I like to write positive, encouraging music and I feel like fans have a huge part in that. 🙂
Christian Lamitschka: What drives you?
Chelsea Musick: The passion I have to encourage teens to take a positive stand is what drive me.
Christian Lamitschka: As an artist you have to do so many different things such as recording, touring, doing interviews etc. What do you like best, what’s your favorite activity?
Chelsea Musick: I love recording, touring and doing interviews! They are all SO much fun for me. I’d have to say that I love touring the most out of them. I love meeting my supporters face to face. Its fun to connect with people over the internet… but it’s so cool to say “Thank you for supporting me’ in person 🙂
Christian Lamitschka: Many music fans today get their information about artists via the internet. Do you have your own website and what will fans find there?
