Currently on a close-to-sold-out 25-city North American
headlining tour (with support from Wax),  and having to upgrade to
larger venues due to popular demand. Hoodie Allen’s stock continues to
rise. His new record “All American” which features the two hit singles ‘No Interuption and ‘No Faith In Brooklyn’ was self-released on April 10th, hitting NUMBER ONE on iTunes by 7AM that morning, staying top of the hip-hop charts for that entire week and is still in the TOP 5 now.

His Billboard numbers make for impressive reading as well with a #10 Debut in the US Billboard Charts, #16 in Canada, and #64 in UK – all without the backing of any sort of record label.

Not only is he doing well in these departments but Hoodie has developed quite a following on YouTube. His single “No Interruption” had 1 million views in 10 days, 250K overnight – and is now sitting at 1.7 million after 3 weeks.

Make every word count
has long been the mantra of New York based rapper and songwriter Hoodie
Allen. With a penchant for candid storytelling and witty punch lines,
Hoodie has always been an emcee who understood the importance of
connecting with the audience through his lyrics. After his 2010
summertime single “You Are Not A Robot” crushed the HypeM popular charts (#1), reached #2 on Billboard’s Uncharted Territory and took the blog world by storm, it was clear Hoodie was on to something.

In September of 2010, Hoodie dropped “Pep Rally“,
a mix tape filled with summer time anthems and sing along choruses. The
album took over the internet and proliferated throughout the
blogosphere racking in over 300,000 downloads as well as features on
Mashable, Billboard.com, College Humor and over 200+ music blogs.

Hoodie then went on to tour nationwide opening for the likes of B.O.B., Das Racist, Cee-Lo, Matt & Kim and The Cataracs, whilst also unleashing his most recent mix tape to the masses – “Leap Year” which gained an enormous groundswell of support, far outpacing that of “Pep Rally“.

Aside
from completeing his first national headlining tour, with sold out
shows in Boston, Chicago, and the coveted Main Room at Webster Hall,
Hoodie also joined Chiddy Bang on the road this past winter, then locked himself away in the studio to record his most recent release ‘All American‘.

Be sure not to miss Hoodie Allen live this summer!
