Historic Jonesborough Bluegrass Series Announces 2012 Season

Bluegrass greats JD Crowe and The New South, Brandon Rickman, The Gibson Brothers, Mark Newton’s Stillhouse Band, The Roys, Larry Stephenson Band, Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice, Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road, and The Boxcars headline the events at the Historic Jonesborough Visitor Center. A portion of the proceeds in 2012 will benefit The Lyric Frizzell Foundation.

The Historic Jonesborough Visitor Center (Jonesborough, TN) will once again host a the bluegrass series in 2012. The shows are scheduled February 25, May 19, July 21, and October 20 and will feature top bluegrass touring artists for each show including Grammy Award winning JD Crowe and the New South and International Bluegrass Music Association award winners The Gibson Brothers. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Lyric Frizzel Foundation to help fight childhood cancer. Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice have been named the “Official Ambassadors” for the Bluegrass Series in 2012.

All shows start at 7pm. Doors at 630pm. Tickets $20 for adults.
