Lone Star Soul: Hill Country Reserve Debuts as the Ultimate Intimate Texas Music Experience
By Christian Lamitschka for Country Music News International Magazine
Texas has no shortage of music festivals, but it’s rare to find one that prioritizes the “hush” as much as the “hullabaloo.” This spring, Forefront Networks is bridging that gap with the launch of Hill Country Reserve, an inaugural multi-day gathering set to take place March 24–26, 2026.
Drawing from the sophisticated DNA of Live In The Vineyard Goes Country (Napa Valley) and Elevation (Beaver Creek), this new destination experience trades the sprawling crowds of typical festivals for a hyper-exclusive guest list of just 300 people. Set against the rolling terrain of Fredericksburg and the surrounding Texas Hill Country, the event promises a “slower, more intentional” connection between the artist, the listener, and the land.
A Lineup Rooted in Tradition
The heart of Hill Country Reserve is its commitment to the craft of songwriting. The initial lineup is a “who’s who” of Texas legends and rising Americana stars.

More Than a Concert: The Experience
Hill Country Reserve is designed as a narrative that unfolds over three days, blending high-end hospitality with historic Texas landmarks.
Day 1: The Welcome
The journey begins at Junebug’s at The Albert Hotel, Fredericksburg’s latest landmark property. Built on the hallowed ground of the historic Albert Dance Hall, this opening sets a sophisticated tone. Guests will enjoy chef-crafted dinners and vineyard views under the vast Texas sky, creating a “dinner-party” atmosphere rather than a standard concert vibe.
Day 2: The Deep Dive
The second day pushes further into the rugged beauty of the Hill Country. Small-group performances allow for a “tableside” experience, featuring intimate sets from:
-
Bri Bagwell
-
Paul Eason
-
Zane Williams
Day 3: The Luckenbach Legacy
The experience culminates with a private visit to Luckenbach, perhaps the most storied music outpost in the state. This isn’t just a tour; it’s a closing chapter that includes a live taping of the award-winning Texas Music Scene television show, ensuring the intimate magic of the weekend is preserved for a broader legacy.
Community and Craft
Presented by the Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau with support from Stonegate Pharmacy, Hill Country Reserve is more than just a weekend getaway—it’s a curated tribute to the region. By limiting the audience to 300, Forefront Networks is betting on the idea that in an increasingly loud world, people are hungry for the quiet, the authentic, and the exclusive.
“Hill Country Reserve represents the next chapter in creating elevated, place-driven experiences that honor music, tradition, and community.”
With more artists expected to be announced in the coming weeks, this inaugural gathering is already positioning itself as the “Gold Standard” for boutique music experiences in the South.
