HEIDI NEWFIELD AND BRIDGETTE TATUM BRING GIRL POWER TO SHE’S COUNTRY TOUR PRESENTED BY PENDLETON WHISKY

NASHVILLE — Paradigm Talent Agency Nashville in partnership with 343 Agency announced today the first 13 dates of an all-girl country genre club tour featuring Heidi Newfield and Bridgette Tatum, with special guests. The She’s Country Tour, presented by Pendleton Whisky, kicks off in Little Rock, AR on November 2.

Newfield first came to prominence as the lead singer for the celebrated country group Trick Pony with hits including “Pour Me” and “It’s A Heartache,” but since her departure from the group, Newfield has found acclaim in her own right.  The hit “Johnny and June” catapulted the star into the spotlight when her critically-acclaimed 2008 debut solo album, WHAT AM I WAITING FOR, wowed country fans and garnered five ACM Award nominations for the solo vocalistNewfield is currently in the studio with renowned producer Blake Chancey (known for his work with the Dixie Chicks and Montgomery Gentry) working on her highly anticipated follow-up album, slated for release in early 2012 on Curb Records. 

 
A native of Florence, SC, Tatum co-wrote “She’s Country,” recorded and released by platinum-selling country superstar, Jason Aldean, which held the No. 1 position on the country radio charts for two consecutive weeks. In 2010, Tatum’s song “Loud” was selected as the official theme song of the ACC Football Conference’s 2010 season. This fast-paced anthem captured in a raucous music video resulted in exposure for Tatum in over 27 million households. Additionally in 2010, Tatum released her debut album, SEX, CHURCH & CHICKEN, on Root 49 Records.
