NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 29, 2015) – Country legend HANK WILLIAMS, JR. has officially signed to NASH ICON RECORDS,
a joint venture label between the Big Machine Label Group (BMLG) and
Cumulus. The raucous Superstar joins the distinct voices of Reba, Martina McBride and Ronnie Dunn on the label, which launched in 2014. These four artists combined have sold over 186 million albums worldwide.

“Country music singers have always been a real close family and today
the Nash Icon family has added me as a new member. I have done shows
with Ronnie Dunn, recorded a hit record with Reba and absolutely love
Martina McBride,” said Williams, Jr. “I am writing songs better than
ever and am signed with a label that is already making history … it’s an
exciting time!”

Following up his 2012 OLD SCHOOL NEW RULES release, Williams,
Jr. will record his 37th album on Nash Icon Records with music expected
later this year. His five-decade career continues to add accolades to
an extremely impressive resume, which has spawned 70 million albums sold
worldwide, 20 gold albums, six platinum albums and 13 chart-topping
albums. Williams, Jr. has been named ACM Entertainer of the Year, CMA Entertainer of the Year and BMI Icon in
addition to winning a GRAMMY and being inducted into the Nashville
Songwriters Hall of Fame. Williams, Jr. isn’t slowing down with
a rigorous tour schedule that has him entertaining fans on the road
throughout the fall. For more information and tour dates, please visit hankjr.com.

“We are all absolutely thrilled and honored to have Hank Jr. join us
at Nash Icon Records. His passion for making new music has never been
stronger and creatively he is on fire!” exclaimed Nash Icon Records
General Manager Jim Weatherson.
Already making an impact, Nash Icon Records scored its first #1 Country album this month with Reba’s LOVE SOMEBODY.
The entertainment powerhouse partnership will continue to engage with
new music and live events from Nashville’s most prolific artists over
the last 30 years. Separately, Cumulus independently operates 26 Nash
Icon radio stations and distributes Nash Icon content to stations
nationwide through its wholly owned distribution service Westwood One.
