NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 20, 2015) Hank Williams Jr. will premiere his highly anticipated new music video for “Are You Ready for the Country
featuring Eric Church exclusively on CMT beginning Saturday, November
21 through the weekend. The video will debut during “CMT Hot 20
Countdown” airing November 21 at 9/8c, on CMT.com
and on the CMT Artists app. Vevo and syndicated partners will follow on
Monday, November 23. The pair shot the video in Nashville at The City
View Apartments parking structure with scenes focused heavily focused on
the live performance with the background alternating between the vibe
of country and city. Fans got a preview of what to expect during the
opening of the 49th Annual CMA Awards where Hank Jr. and Eric performed
the single and garnered critical acclaim with Billboard calling it “a strong opener” and RARE saying the two “rocked some faces off.”

Already been a big week for Hank Jr. who entered a select club of
artists charting singles over six decades as “Are You Ready for the
Country” debuted at #58 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, the
Peter Zavadil directed video continues to build momentum around the
legendary singer / songwriter’s lead track. His upcoming album, IT’S ABOUT TIME, is due out on Nash Icon Records January 15, 2016.

“You have no idea how excited I am about this single and my new
album,” said Hank Jr. “This is my 37th album and the excitement never
goes away. This is definitely my best album to date.”

Through December 1, fans have the opportunity to win the guitar Hank
Jr. played during the CMA opening performance – and signed by Hank Jr.
and Eric – by entering at HankandEric.com. Proving the buzz of the night has not worn off the site has been visited almost 200k times in over 90 countries.

Hank Jr.’s extremely impressive resume has spawned 70 million albums
sold worldwide, six PLATINUM albums, 20 GOLD albums and 13 chart-topping
albums. He has been named ACM Entertainer of the Year, CMA Entertainer of the Year and BMI Icon in addition to winning a GRAMMY and being inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
