Greg Bates Makes His Grand Ole Opry Debut

One of Greg Bates’ biggest dreams came true Friday night (4/27), as he
took the stage at the historic Grand Ole Opry to make his debut. He
performed his new single, “Did It For The Girl,” which he co-wrote. The
song was the second most added single at radio the week of its release
with 29 adds, just behind Superstar Keith Urban. “I have always dreamed
of playing The Opry. Just to stand in that famous circle where so many
legends before me have performed was an absolutely amazing experience,”
said Bates. “Thank you, Pete for the incredible opportunity.” The crowd
was full of family and friends, all supporting the Nashville native. He
dedicated his second song of the night, “Brothers” to one very special
guest, his brother, who he wrote the song about. “Did It For The Girl,”
is now available at iTunes and
can be purchased here. A full-length album is expected later this year.
