Full Performance Line-up Announced for Next Year’s
22nd Annual Graves Mountain Festival of Music

 
Syria, VA (November 5, 2013) – The Graves Mountain Lodge
is proud to announce the full performance line-up for the 22nd Annual
Graves Mountain Festival of Music to be held May 29-31, 2014. Joining
the outstanding talents of Steep Canyon Rangers, Lonesome River Band, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and more are GRAMMY winning Canadian acoustic roots band The Duhks, the reigning International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Female Vocalist of the Year & GRAMMY nominated artist Claire Lynch, and the reigning IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year Junior Sisk.
 
We are also pleased to announce the addition of Town Mountain who took home two 2013 IBMA Momentum Awards including Band of the Year and Vocalist of the Year for Robert Greer.

of the premier 3-day festivals in the country.  2014 will mark our 22nd
year and we are so proud to continue to offer the diversified lineup of
talent featuring the best in Bluegrass, Americana and Roots music. The
music, fun activities and amenities are enhanced by the beautiful
setting of Graves Mountain. This event certainly appeals to all ages and
walks of life,” says performing artist Mark Newton.
 
Music
fans are encouraged to purchase advance $75 3-Day Tickets by phone at
540-923-4231, the Graves Mountain website or by sending a check or money
order to Graves Mountain, Syria, VA  22743 by April 30, 2014. Beginning
May 1 all 3-Day tickets will be $95.  All campers must have 3-day
tickets.  Daily tickets are also available for $35 Thursday, $35 Friday
and $40 for Saturday. 
 
Graves Mountain is nestled in the
beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and featured last year in USA Today’s “10
Great places to go to bluegrass festivals.” The Graves Mountain Lodge
amenities offer on-site accommodations (hotel, cabins, and camping),
fishing, hiking horseback riding, outdoor pool, educational farms,
food, family-style dining at the Graves Mountain Lodge and festival area
and much more.  Attendees are also invited to check out the preserves
and gift baskets at the Graves Mountain Store or online.
