Grasstowne kicks off the summer with a HOT new album
as KICKIN UP DUST climbs the charts
Grasstowne, comprised of the talents of Alan Bibey, Steve Gulley, Justin Jenkins, Kameron Keller and Adam Haynes, certainly know how to kick off their summer touring season!  The band is celebrating chart success with their current album, KICKIN UP DUST along with the first single release (title track) now appearing on: Sirius XM Radio Bluegrass Junction’s Most Played Albums and Tracks; debuting this month on Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine’s Top 30 Songs; and continuing its climb up the Bluegrass Music Profiles Top 30 Hot Single and Bluegrass Music Profiles Top 10 Album charts.

Radio is certainly enjoying the music with Larry Carter (WCXZ Radio) saying, “When it comes to this combination you only expect the best and you’ve got it,” and Jerry Eicher (WQTE Radio) saying, “You got some great grass here! These boys are playing some good driving Bluegrass that will keep our listeners on there toes!  The boys take this song and get Down on the farm and go Up-Town with some mighty fine Progressive Pickin.”

Grasstowne is busy this month with performances in West Virginia, Canada, Ohio, Tennessee and also in Bean Blossom, Indiana where they will be part of the BEAN BLOSSOM LIVE – A Bill Monroe Tribute album releasing on Rural Rhythm Records later this year.  That exciting new project will be recorded during the Bill Monroe Memorial Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival located at the Bill Monroe Music Park and produced by fellow Rural Rhythm artist, Sammy Shelor (Lonesome River Band.)
