GEORGE DUCAS PENS NEW ALBUM – 4340

GEORGE DUCAS PENS NEW ALBUM – 4340
Hitmaker’s Independent Release An Undeniable
Musical Work Of Art For The Listening Ear!
Out In Early Fall

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 31, 2013)—George Ducas celebrates the release of 4340
(from Loud Ranch), his first full-length release since his critically
acclaimed Capitol Records releases. The new project is signatured as
another George Ducas Original trademarked by his contemporary edge and timeless content. The 12-song CD is scheduled for an October 29, 2013 release.

Without exception, 4340
showcases Ducas’ talents to illuminate storylines with defining imagery
that brings lyrics to life. With co-writes alongside Keifer Thompson
(Thompson Square), Jim Beavers (“Red Solo Cup”/Toby Keith, “5150”/Dierks
Bentley), Radney Foster, Jon Henderson and Jason Matthews, the album is
stocked with radio worthy tracks and lined with carefully painted
musical canvasses featuring song titles such as “CowTown” (at country radio now), “Ain’t That Crazy,” “Love Struck,” “Amnesia,” “Give Me Back My Honky Tonk,” “White Lines And Road Signs” and “I Need To Love You.”

Since
making his entry in the country music genre as a deep-rooted
traditionalist and defined vocalist who brought a contemporary edge to
the format, George enjoyed success as a Nashville major label recording
artist (Capitol Nashville) with a string of hits including his Top 10
single “Lipstick Promises.”

With
a noticeable personal “presence missed” on mainstream radio in recent
years, it is only the sound of his voice that was silent in the interim.
Holding his position as a relevant member of the songwriting community
and a mainstay in the recording industry, Ducas’ musical compositions
have been recognized by his peers and heard loud and clear over the
airwaves. His reputation as masterful tunesmith has made him a
sought-after songcrafter in a league of his own; Ducas is in deed the
essence of “musicianship.”

In
line with his own recording credits, Ducas’ name can be found behind
the pen of some of country music’s biggest hits including: Sara Evan’s
No. 1 “Real Fine Place To Start,” Josh Thompson’s “Won’t Be Lonely Long,” The Eli Young Band’s “Always The Love Songs”
as well as cuts recorded by George Jones, The Dixie Chicks, Garth
Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and the Randy Rogers Band, only to name a few.

“I’m
really just a ‘regular Joe;’ I enjoy writing a good song, a hot cup of
coffee, a cold beer and rolling down highway miles with the band to
bring the music to the folks who want to hear it, night after night,”
Ducas introduces. “I’ve had good fortune to become the voice for other artists and in the meantime, I am blessed to have become a dad–twice.”

George released the debut single “CowTown”
(written by Ducas and Jim Beavers) introducing it first to the folks in
his home state; the track received overwhelming welcome in the Lone
Star state (climbing into the Top 10 on the Texas Music Charts). The
sure-fire hit is currently enjoying “want more” applause from country
radio and its listeners new and old. [Spin Doctors Promotion-Nashville
is spearheading the radio promotion effort.]

“I’m
not a ‘newbie’ in the industry by any means, but I’m okay with being
recognized as a new artist by the industry and fans; we all need to
reinvent ourselves to stay current. I want this project to stand on its
own two feet, it’s not a departure of where I’ve been, or who I am, but
an example of how I’ve grown,”
Ducas expands. “A ‘snapshot’ from a musical perspective, 4340
is bits and pieces of my personal relationships, growth and downfalls
and because we all experience similar feelings, I think my music relates
to many. That’s what a good song does, it just expresses feelings about
experiences and the story behind them. This time, I’m using my voice to
tell it.”

Ducas
is set to embark on the third-leg of his radio promotion tour—heading
to the West Coast. The CD will be distributed by Select-O-Hits and
available via all major Internet retail outlets including Amazon, iTunes
and Rhapsody.
