GEOFFREY ANDREWS: BREAKING NEW ARTIST WITH WORLDCLASS APPEAL
“A Miracle” Launches Across Multiple Radio Formats February 8
Rising young artist Geoffrey Andrews knows more than a little about “miracles.”
He’s had a brush with one or two.
Breaking now onto the 2012 music scene with his self-penned debut single, “A Miracle,” set for February release, Geoffrey brings a unique prospective to his music career. Still in his twenties, the Texas born singer/songwriter has already overcome a pocketful of life’s challenges on the road to finding his own personal pocketful of miracles.
Geoffrey brings a fresh new twist to the ‘classic’ story of being discovered in Nashville. He emerged as the 2011 winner the annual ICM Faith, Family & Country Week talent competition-an event that annually draws several hundred artist hopefuls. Performing “A Miracle,” amidst the sea of new faces, Geoffrey’s rich, classically trained voice and smooth Josh Groban-esque style delivery left judges and listeners alike immediately spellbound with the degree of vocal talent and professionalism coming from the strappingly handsome young man from Lubbock.
“A Miracle” will be released as a single by HMG Nashville on February 8. Because of the uniqueness of his voice and the strength of the song, “A Miracle” will be serviced across multiple formats to Contemporary Christian, Southern Gospel, AC, Inspirational, and Praise & Worship.
Notes Gene Higgins, President of the ICM Faith, Family and Country Association:
“This is an amazing new artist who is virtually limitless. With “A Miracle,” we feel that we’re presenting a powerful new artist with a song that has the production and vocal quality that gives it the potential to connect with listeners and touch lives across several radio formats.”
To further add to his debut reach with audiences, Geoffrey’s self-written “If God Said This Was Heaven,” was released to Inspirational Country radio earlier this month.
A video production of “A Miracle” shot on location in Nashville is now in post production and will be released nationally in support of both the single releases and his forthcoming debut album, Geoffrey Andrews.
Although he was inspired towards a career in music by his love of the theater-“Phantom of the Opera” in particular –like any good Texan, Geoffrey, who holds a second degree black belt in karate, readily admits to “kicking back” and enjoying his share of country music-Brad Paisley and Reba are particular favorites.

With a talent that’s undeniably world-class in caliber, Nashville has become his creative home of choice. He recently signed as a writer with BMI in Nashville and expects to spend more time there as a creative center. Pictured are Andrews and BMI’s Thomas Cain.

Geoffrey will be available for interviews and to meet media next month at CRS-The Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, February 22-24.
