has been heating up the music scene – and just this week – debuted in
the Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart with the release of SUNSHINE & WHISKEY. The new project on Warner Bros Records also entered the Billboard Top 200 Chart at #35.

The guitarist-singer’s lead single,
“Helluva Life,” has launched into the Top 5 on the Country radio charts
this week and marks his fastest rising track to date. The infectious
anthem has already sold more than 300,000 digital copies.

Tuesday night (2/18), Ballard
performed full band for the first time at the historic Ryman Auditorium
in Nashville, TN. He treated the crowd to fan-favorites from SUNSHINE & WHISKEY
including “Young & Crazy,” “It Don’t Take Much” and “Drinky Drink.”
Ballard worked with producer Marshall Altman (Marc Broussard) on the
11-track album, which showcases his guitar prowess on every song. With a
mix of up-tempo party songs and thought-provoking ballads, it’s no wonder that critics are flocking to the album.
