Lamitschka: Music has many new fans throughout
Europe who may be hearing about you for the first time. How would you describe
yourself and the music you play to someone who has never seen or heard you?
Answer: I’ve been fortunate to write and produce
music that caters to both the classic and traditional country music lover as
well as the more contemporary music enthusiast.
Lamitschka: How was the last year for you? What were
your highlights?
Answer: I spent most of last year helping to
orchestrate, assemble and produce a compilation CD Project titled LOVE LIVES ON. We united TAPS military
families with renowned songwriters to tell their stories surrounding the loss
of their loved ones. The compilation highlights performances by A-list artists
(including Vince Gill, All-4-One, John Rich, Billy Ray Cyrus and more), and the
proceeds benefit the TAPS (Tragedy Assistance For Survivors) nonprofit. The
project was a labor of love and I’m very, very proud to have participated. You

Lamitschka: What is your latest CD and how’s it
doing?
Answer: My new single is called “God’s Got This;“ it
was just released on August 28. I’m very excited about the early response. I
think the song is meaningful in these times and for anyone who is going through
a tough time.
Lamitschka: How did you choose the title for the
CD? Is there a story behind the name?
Answer: I was going through a difficult time and I
realized it was out of my control. I knew all I could do was give it to God.
The title just came to me and the song just kind of wrote itself.
Lamitschka: Do you write the songs yourself? If not,
how do you go about finding the songs for your CD?
Answer: I enjoy writing solo and have had the
pleasure of writing with a number of talented song crafters and recording
artists. My songs have been recorded and
performed by Lonestar, John Michael Montgomery, Eddie Rabbitt and Crystal Gayle
and more. I have been truly blessed as a
songwriter.
Lamitschka: Please tell us about the songs on your
album (influences, etc).
Answer: I have recorded and released just one album
titled SCRAPEBOOK (The Acoustic
Sessions). It’s a collection of hit songs that I’ve written for other
artists and re-recorded. Folks can find

Lamitschka: Your current single is being played by
radio. What do you feel is special about this song that makes people want to
hear it?
Answer: “God’s Got This“ is a song about Faith, Hope
and Trust in God. The message is about turning it over to HIM…just letting go
and leaving it all in HIS hands. The song offers a comforting message for those
going through a rough time.
Lamitschka: What will your next single be?
Answer: That’s a very good question; I have lots of
ideas that I’m working on but nothing yet concrete or ready for release.
