FAMILY MAN SINGER CRAIG CAMPBELL SURPRISES OHIO PARENTS OF QUINTUPLETS WITH UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT
Nashville, Tennessee…(March 10, 2011)…Earlier this week, “Family Man” singer Craig Campbell surprised Ohio parents Vince and Amy Spicocchi with a night they will never forget. Campbell first learned of the family after Vince posted a touching family video on YouTube set to the singer’s autobiographical hit single “Family Man.” The Massillon, Ohio fireman and registered nurse welcomed quintuplets in August 2010, however the babies were born prematurely and underwent heart surgery and had to fight to survive.
Campbell hired a limousine to pick up the couple from their home and bring them to The Tangier in Akron, Ohio for WQMX’s charity concert series. In addition to enjoying an acoustic set featuring Campbell and Steve Holy, Campbell met the parents backstage and presented the family with a personal check to help offset the family’s expenses. A father to daughters Preslee (3) and Kinni (7 mos), Campbell also gifted each child with identical onesies.
“It was beautiful,” shared Campbell after the evening wrapped. “All of us were crying by the end of the night, it was so special.”
Craig Campbell’s “Family Man” music video, featuring his own two daughters, can be seen at his website, www.craigcampbell.tv. The Spicocchi’s personalized “Family Man” video can be seen here: http://bit.ly/hKeQhy.
