Nashville’s Americana scene is about to get a massive infusion of grit, heart, and “Positive Vibes Only.” Elliott Booe, the former Indiana State University basketball standout turned Americana powerhouse, has officially announced a high-energy 2026 residency at The Vinyl Lounge.

Presented as part of the EBBFlow series, the residency marks a triumphant return to the heart of Nashville for Booe and his band, The Impromptus, following a career-defining 2025.

The Artist: Elliott Booe’s “Old-Soul” Evolution

Hailing from Clay City, Indiana, Elliott Booe carries the discipline of a collegiate athlete into the writing rooms of Music City. Now three years into his Nashville journey, Booe has transitioned from the hardwood to the stage without losing an ounce of his competitive drive.

His sound—a blend of powerful vocals and honest, midwestern lyricism—reflects a “modern Nashville climb” rooted in “old-soul storytelling.” Booe is not just a performer; he is a community builder, hosting a weekly original music show every Thursday in Nashville to champion rising writers.

Career Highlights at a Glance:

  • Awards: 2025 Josie Music Award winner for Country Song of the Year (“Song on the Radio”).

  • Stage Credits: Opened for legends and stars including Alabama, Dustin Lynch, and Brantley Gilbert.

  • Recording: Recently recorded a live album at the historic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, slated for a 2026 release.

The Residency: A Collaborative Showcase

The EBBFlow series at The Vinyl Lounge isn’t just a concert; it’s a rotating showcase of top-tier talent. Each night follows a curated path of high-energy performances:

  1. Chris Garner: The evening opens with the soulful songwriter behind the War Hippies’ hit “Leavin’ Sense.”

  2. Cody Ikerd & The Sidewinders: The JMA Outlaw Country Band of the Year brings their road-tested energy to the stage.

  3. Griffin Dunn Band: Featuring their new live single “Creek Water Ramen,” recorded at the legendary Blackbird Studio.

  4. Elliott Booe & The Impromptus: The night concludes with a full-band original set. Expect the unexpected, as The Impromptus often feature cameos from artists like Anna Wescoat, Isabella Brown, and Oliver Pigott.

New Music: “Pilgrim Chapter 34”

While the residency promises high energy, it also offers moments of profound intimacy. Booe’s current release, “Pilgrim Chapter 34” (released December 17, 2025), serves as a cornerstone of the set. The track is a heartfelt tribute to his late father and serves as the introduction to a deeply personal father-son-themed project. Following the success of his debut album First Off, Booe is expected to send several new tracks to radio throughout 2026.
