Elizabeth Montgomery CD Release Party

Elizabeth Montgomery Announces September 15th CD Release Party at Dance World of Nashville

(NASHVILLE, Tennessee)
Nashville-based recording artist Elizabeth Montgomery is pleased to
announce that a CD release party for her upcoming album, “Singing the
Sky Blue,” will be held on Sunday, September 15th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
at Dance World of Nashville (630 Rundle Avenue). The music and dance
event is free and open to the public, and will feature dancers, a
performance by Montgomery, and food and desserts will be available.

“Singing the Sky Blue” is a 1940′s themed recording, filled with
uplifting songs in a big band style. The album includes such memorable
classics as “Sunny Side of the Street,” “The Sound of Music,” “Moon
River/Blue Moon,” “What a Wonderful World,” “I’ll be Seeing You” and
more.

Produced by Robert White Johnson (Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Martins, BJ
Thomas), the album’s first single, “I’ve Got the World on a String,” has
captured the attention of Nashville’s dance community. A signature
dance was created by respected Nashville choreographer, Barry Amato, and
plans are being made to launch the dance in Europe this fall in
conjunction of Montgomery’s appearance at an event in Paris.

“I am so excited about the release of the long awaited CD, ‘Singing the
Sky Blue,'” said Montgomery. “I invite you to come with me on this
journey and we will recapture the beauty and elegance of an era in our
history when America was bustling with music and dance.”

Montgomery’s singing career almost didn’t happen. For the first fourteen
years of her life, Montgomery spent much of her time in hospitals,
enduring an extremely serious lung condition that was thought to be
terminal. After a miraculous healing, she was determined to make up for
lost time and pursue music. As a teenager, Montgomery recorded a Gospel
album – the first of nine. Classically trained, she has performed
numerous operatic roles including “Twelfth Night” and “Hansel and
Gretel,” and she has traveled throughout the U.S., Europe and Central
America, with over 3000 performances to her credit.
