ELIZABETH LYONS RELEASING NEW EP I’VE NEVER (2/22)

NASHVILLE, TN (February 4, 2016) – Elizabeth Lyons’ fans anxiously wait for the release of her sophomore country EP I’ve Never on February 22nd following the success of her iTunes All-Time Bestseller Under $8, Billboard charting debut self-titled EP which featured her first single “Everything Tonight” which was played on Sirius XM The Highway ‘On the Horizon’ and single “#PartyRules” charted #1 on Country Music Video Chart on iTunes and #4 on CMT Pure channel.
The
album includes “Made in the Midwest” which speaks to Elizabeth’s roots
in the Midwest growing up outside Chicago on the shores of Lake
Michigan and spending time with family in Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
The song “Girls Like Shoes, Bags & Boys” which speaks to all women
and the things they love and “Southern Gentleman” is Lyons’ story moving
from the north to the south. “General Admission” speaks to Lyons’ love
of country concerts being one big party and her love of each and every
fan to her experience opening up for: “Luke Bryan” and writing a song
about finding a boyfriend who’s like him.
“My
main goal for this record is to be true to who I am. I want my songs to
convey my personality and approach toward life. “I’ve Never” is my
reflection of it all… I never thought I’d be following my dreams and be
releasing a second album or even opening for artists’ who I grew up
listening to & who have loved & inspired me. Or that, I would
fall in love,” Elizabeth says this sophomore EP “is about always
‘keeping the faith,’ faith God will take you on the journey your suppose
to be on…because in life you just never know?!”
I’ve Never is the result of a successful PledgeMusic campaign
launched this past November. Recorded in Nashville, the EP features
some of Nashville’s best-known: produced by Brad Hill (Brothers Osborne,
Maren Morris, Brett Young), Writers: Jason Massey (Kelsea Ballerini,
Haley & Michaels), Dan Swinimer (Jojo Mason, Madeline Merlo), Heidi
Raye and Georgia Thomas.
Elizabeth Lyons,
a graduate of Vanderbilt, is a completely ‘DIY’ independent artist, who
has to date, booked herself and her band at clubs, festivals, fairs,
fundraisers, businesses, colleges, schools, country clubs across the
country. Elizabeth is thrilled to have shared the stage with many acts
to include a few: Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes, Sam Hunt,
Alabama, Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell, Chase Rice, Cheap Trick, Thomas
Rhett, Randy Houser. Early believers like Joe’s Bar owner in Chicago, IL
and Summerfest’s CEO fell in love with her spark plug personality and
talent, and she soon found herself in more high profile gigs like
singing the “National Anthem” at Wrigley Field and performing her
original songs at CMA Music Festival, Summerfest, Windy City Smoke Out,
Country Jam, Country USA, Country on the River, Country Stampede,
Country Thunder and Mardi Gras.
