The
annual event attracts hundreds of radio programmers from all over the

First
on Eileen’s breakneck agenda was the CDX “meet and greet” at the
Swingin’ Doors Saloon in the heart of Lower Broadway’s entertainment
mecca. There she swapped news and road stories with host Joe Kelly, an
old friend from earlier Seminars as well as catching up with the fellow
artists attending. CDX distributes CD copies of artists’ songs to radio
stations throughout the U. S. and regularly carries Eileen’s music.

Next
up was a swing through the all-important CRS Artist Welcome reception,
hosted at the elegant Omni Hotel by the Country Music Association, of
which Eileen is a member.

Eileen
spent most of her afternoons recording interviews with radio
personalities from all points of the compass, including one from England
and another from Germany.

As
if all this flurry wasn’t enough to exhaust her, Eileen found time to
host a luncheon for a gaggle of radio folks, journalists and music
executives at the historic Merchants restaurant. To spice up the meal,
Eileen performed her new single, “Good Bad Girl,” (co-written by Al
Bonhomme & Kris Bradley) as well as favorites from her stage show.
And, yes, the crowd did demand an encore.

Ever
the patriot, Eileen devoted a morning to pitching in with other artists
to stuff “care packages” for Operation Troop Aid, a charity devoted to
providing essentials to American military personnel.

Tired
but triumphant, Eileen wrapped up the week a rousing performance with
her band at Rippy’s BBQ, one of the hipper downtown venues.

So no early calls, please. The gal needs a rest.
