Nashville, Tenn. (September 1, 2017) – With the long-awaited launch of his third album CURRENT MOOD just a week away (coming out 9/8), Broken Bow Records star DUSTIN LYNCH
is turning up the heat with a series of high-profile media appearances.
Starting this weekend, the hit-making Country phenom will surround his
new album’s release with almost two weeks of national TV spots, and
more.
Lynch will kick things off with a bang, guest starring on CMT Hot 20 Countdown
(airing Saturday 9/2 & Sunday 9/3 at 9:00 a.m. ET) – where the
romantic beachside video for his current single, “Small Town Boy,” is in
rotation.
Next he’ll appear on ABC’s Good Morning America, teaming up with Lauren Alaina and Brothers Osborne Monday (9/4) for a Labor Day reveal of the final nominees for The 51st Annual CMA Awards.
Lynch will then ratchet up the excitement level even more, performing the grooving “Small Town Boy” on NBC’s TODAY
Thursday (9/7) during the show’s popular Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda
Kotb-hosted segment. Still riding a supercharged streak of hits, the
GOLD-certified “Small Town Boy” is currently inside Country Radio’s Top 5
and on the verge of becoming Lynch’s incredible fifth #1 in a row.
Then
on Thursday night (9/7), Lynch will pull out all the stops, partnering
with iHeartRadio to give fans all over the world a live, inside look at
his adventurous CURRENT MOOD project. Taking over the
iHeartRadio Theater in New York City for his official album release
party, he will perform an intimate set of new tunes and sit down for an
in-depth Q&A session hosted by popular iHeartCountry personality
Bobby Bones starting at 10:00 p.m. ET. The event will be broadcast
across iHeartRadio’s mainstream Country stations, and also live-streamed
on the iHeartRadio YouTube channel and iHeartRadio app.
West
Coast bound, Lynch will be back in the spotlight the following Thursday
(9/14) – this time for an outdoor stage performance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The whirlwind campaign is a fitting way for Lynch to launch CURRENT MOOD, the bold and chance-taking third chapter in his rise to superstardom. His first two albums landed #1 and #2 on Billboard’s
Top Country Albums chart, and he’s racked up four consecutive GOLD or
PLATINUM-certified #1 singles since 2014 (“Where It’s At,” “Hell of a
Night,” “Mind Reader,” and “Seein’ Red”).
Meanwhile,
Lynch is set to embark on his headlining tour in support of the new
album this fall. Kicking off November 3 in Fayetteville, North Carolina,
THE RIDE OR DIE TOUR will show off Lynch’s electrifying live-show
talent, visiting cities from New York to Los Angeles and featuring Ryan
Hurd, LANCO, and Michael Ray on select dates. Tickets and VIP experience
packages are available now.
