Dignity Gospel Quartet Interview

By Mark Huffine for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

Dignity Gospel Quartet was established in 2004. It is a ministry of DGQ Ministries, a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c),(3) Religious organization that uses music as a tool in the delivery of the gospel of Jesus Christ. While imprisoned approximately 60 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Apostle Paul exhorts the church in Ephesus, (Ephesians 5:1) “to be imitators of God, as beloved children (Ephesians 5:19) ”while speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord.

In addition to their individual touring schedule, performing their unique style of Southern Gospel music to churches, church groups, and varied concert venues, the quartet produces and promotes The Greater Houston Area Gospel Songfest. Over the past 14 years they have entertained and ministered to tens of thousands of gospel music lovers attending this series of six concerts annually, featuring award-winning, internationally recognized artists in Southern Gospel, Bluegrass and Country Gospel music. Bound by their personal commitments and their organizational charter, all sources of revenue received by DGQ Ministries are treated as cash donations to the non-profit entity and must be used exclusively for (Article II, 2.2) nonprofit Christian religious purposes, with emphasis on: sharing the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ and the message of His grace and love in the spoken word song and the written page.
