DEAN BRODY WINS JUNO AWARD FOR COUNTRY ALBUM OF THE YEAR
PERFORMS #1 GOLD SINGLE “BOUNTY” ON JUNO AWARDS BROADCAST TONIGHT

WINNIPEG, MB – Canadian Country star Dean Brody earns his first JUNO Award for Country Album of the Year
at last night’s JUNO Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony in Winnipeg.
Nominated for the third time in his career, Brody’s fourth album, Crop Circles (Open Road Recordings / Universal Music Canada) soared to the top of
the charts upon release this past November. 
 
“I’m
so proud of the team around me, its been a long journey and I feel like
this win is for all of us,” says Dean Brody. “Years from now I’ll look
back on this as one of the greatest honours given to me. Thank you all
for your part in making this happen. What a night!”
Receiving critical acclaim for his songwriting, Brody made history
in 2013 becoming the first male Canadian artist to earn two #1 songs at
Country radio on the BDS and Mediabase charts for Crop Circles first single “Bounty” featuring Lindi Ortega and 2012’s Platinum-selling anthem “Canadian Girls.”
   
To date, Brody’s career has spawned 12 Top 10 singles at radio
becoming the #1 Most Played Canadian Artist for the past three years;
seven Canadian Country Music Association Awards (CCMA) including his
current reign as Male Artist of the Year and multiple sold out tours across Canada including his most recent headlining arena tour Crop Circles and Tractor Beams.

Brody will perform his #1 Gold-selling hit “Bounty” on the 2014 JUNO
Awards Broadcast this evening, Sunday, March 30, 2014 on CTV from
Winnipeg’s MTS Centre at 8 p.m. CT/ 9 p.m. ET.
