TORONTO, ON – Crowned for the second consecutive year, Dean Brody continues his reign as Male Artist of Year at the 2013 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards. Last night, Brody introduced Canada to his brand new single “Bounty” through a live performance with special guest vocalist Lindi Ortega. On November 5, he will release Crop Circles his highly anticipated fourth studio album. Starting today, fans will have the first opportunity to hear Crop Circles live as he kicks off tour dates across Ontario this fall and returns to the road in 2014 for his Crop Circles & Tractor Beams Tour, featuring Season 3 winner of the Voice, Cassadee Pope.
To date, Brody has won seven CCMA Awards including back-to-back wins for Album of the Year (Trail In Life and Dirt) and now, Male Artist of the Year (2012 and 2013). His third album Dirt reached
Gold sales in Canada and he has charted 11 Top 10 singles including the
Gold-selling #1 hit “Canadian Girls” and “It’s Friday” featuring Great
Big Sea. In 2011 and 2012, Brody was named the #1 Most Played Canadian
Country Artist at radio and earned two JUNO Award nominations for Album of the Year.
Among his accolades this year, Brody has participated in the Halo High
Water Benefit Concertand Telethon to support the Calgary Foundation’s
Flood Rebuilding Fund, was named one of HELLO! Canada’s Most Beautiful
