David Church climbs to the top of the charts!

Church, the star of RFD-TV’s popular show, “Midwest Country” has song “The Old
Red White & Blue, climbing in the top of the charts on
Reverbnation.com
David
Church’s song, “The Old Red White & Blue” is rising fast in the charts on
one of the world’s most popular music websites, Reverbnation.com  The song, currently at #45 on the
national country charts and #47 on the Global country charts was written by
Church.  Inspired by a story he
heard about some of the struggles the veterans are having after returning from
recent wars, he wanted to write a song to thank them for their service.  Another original song by Church also
climbed to the top of the charts. “I Don’t Live In Lonely Anymore”
rose to
#20 on the national charts and was #1 in the state of Ohio.  “With almost a million artists in the
country genre, that’s an incredible accomplishment”,
stated by Michael
Doernberg, the CEO and developer of one of the most popular music websites in
the world.
David
Church is making a huge connection to fans who are starving for the traditional
sound of “Retro Country” music.  From college students to great
grandparents the impact of his “roots/retro” music brings a connection that
crosses generations. He has been featured as a regular on the
RFD-TV’s popular show “Midwest Country” for the past 10
years, along with his wife, Terri Lisa Church.  And they have created
millions of enthusiastic loyal fans all over the world.  It is easy to
understand why he is RFD-TV’s “most requested” artist, and the
star of “Midwest Country.  RFD-TV is
broadcast on Dishnet, DirecTV and thousands of cable networks to over 60 million
viewers.  Midwest country remains
one of the top billing shows on the network broadcast during primetime on
Saturday night, right next to Marty Stuart.
Church
is recognized for standing on his own, with his own music.  David’s
background is firmly rooted in traditional music, with a strong influence by the
early sounds from Jimmy Martin, Hank Williams, Marty Robbins and Merle
Haggard.  And he is recognized all over the world for his tribute to
Hank Williams Sr;Church sounds so much like Hank
it is amazing”, stated Joe Jenson, producer of Midwest Country TV show.  He
stated, “I really don’t try to sound like Hank, but just love the music and
want to preserve and bring it to the fans.”
 
David
is a member of ROPE (Reunion of Professional Entertainers) an
organization made of up mostly celebrity country music artists and music
industry executives.  Marty Martel, president of ROPE and the officers
named Church as a “celebrity” in 2010, when he performed in Nashville at their
annual benefit, beside of major artists, Lorrie Morgan, Crystal Gail, John
Conley, and more.  He has also toured with Gene Watson. 
In
recent month’s Church was recognized and honored by Martin guitars as the “#1
Hank Williams Tribute act in the world”.
 He was asked to attend and
perform at the NAMM conference in Nashville TN, where Martin guitars where
introducing a new “retro” series guitar.  Chris Thomas, the director of
artist relations presented David with a new D28 retro series guitar, similar to
what Hank would have played, but with a new acoustic microphone installed,
keeping that authentic sound.  David is also recognized by the Hank
Williams Museum located in Montgomery, AL; the Boyhood Home in Georgiana, AL,
and a multitude of other organizations. 
David
and Terri Lisa Church, (also a favorite on RFD-TV) hosted an event kicking off
the CMA Fest just prior to CMT Awards at the Hard Rock Café, in June 2012. 
They also performed at the event which featured 20 artists including
celebrities, Phil Vassar, Georgette Jones, The McClymonts and more, with a
fashion show by world renowned “Manuel”, the clothing designer of the stars.
They
will be featured on 2 additional TV shows.  “Kelly’s Kountry Junction” a
comedy show broadcast on PBS and syndicated all over the world, will feature
both artists mid-spring.  And recently on “Video Jukebox” broadcast on
Vimeo and Roku, hosted by Laura Dodd.   David and Terri Lisa have been
featured locally on WHOL and on Lancaster Perspective with Mike Miller. 
Bruce
Maier, the editor of a major music magazine, Damn Good Tunes called David, “a
rare entertainment entity”.  He went on to say “he creates a visual
presentation that is absolutely dazzling to witness. He does something that 99%
of all other artists cannot do and that is stand on their own with their own
music.”
