The Green Bay, Wisconsin native filmed the energetic lyric video for
the new song on the lake, living the song’s lyrics in real time. “It
should be a crime having this much fun making a music video with my
friends,” McElroy told Nashville Noise. “The team told me, ‘Dave go take these cameras and you do you (laughs). I don’t hate my life.’”

Fellow artist, songwriter and producer Bridgette Tatum and hit writer
Danny Myrick (who both penned the 2 week number 1 song “She’s Country”
for Aldean) wrote the upbeat party tune.  Heading up production on the
project, Tatum continues to blaze the trail for female producers in
country music.

“As we went through the recording process for this song, I could feel

“Chill” follows McElroy’s first single of 2019, “Bulletproof,” which
served as the first new song from his upcoming album. “Bulletproof”
quickly impacted the Top 50 Billboard Indicator chart and Top 5 of the “Most Added” on the Music Row
200.  A touring workhorse, McElroy has been hitting the road ahead of
the upcoming album. “There is a lot of joy in this album—positive energy
runs through every song, and I can’t wait to share it with my friends
on the road,” he says.
