Hot New Band NOMINATED In “Make a Band Famous” Category
Nashville, Tenn. (May 31, 2013) – Nearly one million votes were cast and the results are in—Darling Parade scores a nomination in the “Make a Band Famous” category at O Music Awards. All five nominees, chosen by fan vote, will perform at the MTV O Music Awards airing on June 19 at 7 p.m. ET as part of “Live Music Day,” a 24-hour, live-streamed party featuring performances from around the country.
The OMAs, which honor innovators in music, culture and technology,
will feature more than 50 bands performing.
During the live show, the band who scores the most votes will get a once-in-a-lifetime shot to play VMA weekend in August, as well as the distinction of becoming MTV’s Artist to Watch, VH1’s You Oughta Know or CMT’s Listen Up highlighted band.
