CRAIG MORGAN TO HOST 5TH ANNUAL CELEBRITY
DIRTBIKE RIDE AND CONCERT BENEFITING BILLY’S PLACE

Nashville, TN…(May 25, 2011)…Country Music superstar and celebrated TV host Craig Morgan announced today that he is set to host his 5th annual Charity Ride and Concert August ­­6 and 7 in his hometown of Dickson, Tenn.  Proceeds from the two-day event, which includes a celebrity dirtbike ride and concert, will benefit Billy’s Place, a home for temporarily displaced children in Dickson, Tenn, just outside Nashville.

The family-friendly event will kick-off Saturday, August 6 with a celebrity dirtbike ride. The morning will start with a motocross exhibition followed by a group trail ride and lunch. Previous motocross celebrity participants have included Kevin Windham, Cowboy Kenny Bartram, Fred Andrews and Barry Hawk.

New for 2011 is the addition of a celebrity skeet shoot on the morning of Sunday, August 7. Later that evening, Craig and several of his country music friends will take to the stage for an intimate acoustic concert. Celebrity participants for all three events will be announced at a later date.

Celebrity Concert

ABOUT BILLY’S PLACE: The idea for the charity was born while Craig Morgan was serving as an Assistant Sheriff’s Deputy in Dickson, TN. The mission of the Craig Morgan Charity Fund is to build and maintain a home called Billy’s Place for temporarily displaced children in Dickson County Tennessee and to provide lasting funding to the home. His long term goal is to start additional Billy’s Place homes around the country. In 2011, he will host the 5th annual Craig Morgan Charity Ride, which has raised nearly $50,000 the last two years alone, in support of Billy’s Place and other children’s welfare organizations.
