cooking and the popular concept’s latest exclusive CD release, Timeless Hits From the Past Bluegrassed,
by the honored and admired bluegrass band Russell Moore & IIIrd
Tyme Out. The 12-track album features newly recorded classic hits
performed bluegrass style by the seven-consecutive-time IBMA Vocal Group
of the Year and five-time IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year (Russell
Moore), along with guest vocalists Pam Tillis and Sonya Isaacs. This
exciting new album will be available at all Cracker Barrel® locations, CrackerBarrel.com, Amazon and iTunes, beginning Monday, January 7, 2013. 
 
Having released over 17 albums throughout more than 20 years
together, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out stay true to their roots
on Timeless Hits From the Past Bluegrassed, recording
classic songs that have placed an indelible mark on their career and
shaped their musical style. These songs, which they’ve re-recorded with
their own bluegrass flare, were originally recorded by George Jones and
Tammy Wynette, Willie Nelson, The Osborne Brothers, Glen Campbell,
Elvis, Merle Haggard, John Denver, Don Williams, JD Crowe & The New
South, Travis Tritt and Gene Watson.  Moreover, guest vocalists Sonya
Isaacs (on “Golden Ring”) and Pam Tillis (on “John & Mary”) perfectly complement the group’s award-winning rich vocal blends and crowd-pleasing instrumentation.
