Vor 25 Jahren spielte Cowboy Jack Clement seine erstes Album ein. 1931 in Memphis geboren und maßgeblich bei vielen Projekten im Bluegrass und Rockebilly Bereich tätig. „Guess Things Happen That Way“ ist jetzt sein erstes Solo-Album. Zwölf Songs, die sehr traditionell sind. Viele Stücke wie „Dreaming My Dreams With You“, „S-E-R-I-O-U-S-LY“ oder „Leavin’ Is The Lovin’ Thing To Do“ könnten auch eine Verwendung in Klassikern oder Neuauflagen von Westernverfilmungen finden. Cowboy Jack Clement gehört weiterhin zu den bekanntesten Songwritern Amerikas. Hank Snow, John Prine, Cliff Richard, Ray Charles, Tom Jones, Garth Brooks oder Johny Cash spielten schon Songs von ihm. Cowboy Jack Clement sagt einmal: „I’ve Got A Bunch Of People Who Say I’m A Genius. That Don’t Make Me A Genius. But You’ve Got To Be pretty Smart To Get All Them People To Say That On Cue.“ Dem ist nichts beizufügen.
Cowboy Jack Clement recorded his first Album 25 years ago. He was born 1931 in Memphis and was mainly busy in the Bluegrass and Rockabilly area. „Guess Things Happen That Way“now is his first Solo-Album. 12 Songs that are very traditional. Many pieces like „Dreaming My Dreams With You“, „S-E-R-I-O-U-S-LY“ or „Leavin’ Is The Lovin’ Thing To Do“ could also be for a classical or new released Western Movie. Cowboy Jack Clement still belongs to the best known Songwriters in the US. Hank Snow, John Prine, Cliff Richard, Ray Charles, Tom Jones, Garth Brooks or Johny Cash have already played Songs from him.
