CountryMusicNewsInternational.com (CMNI) received topnotch ratings on Google in less than six weeks. The music magazine, founded by Christian Lamitschka at the beginning of March, has already become one of Germany’s most comprehensive repositories for country music news, reviews and information.
If you search for ‘Country Music News‘ you will find CMNI on page one at Google in Germany and page three on Google in the US.
What is the difference between CMNI and other country magazines? First of all, the magazine is in English and in German. Over the years Christian has established a country music community around the globe with a strong fan-base in his home country of Germany. His weekly Country Music Newsletter reaches 150,000 subscribers worldwide.
On CMNI, interviews with the most popular country artists are published as videos, as well as in written format. Naturally more English interviews are available than German ones. Christian comments, “There is so much going on at the moment that I simply can’t translate everything. I already have people who are helping me with articles and basic administration stuff, but to cover it all, we need more time and people who like to help.”
Other areas that get a lot of focus at CMNI are CD reviews which are published once a month, a new music video section, personal video-messages from famous country, bluegrass and Cajun stars and general country music news with tour dates and upcoming releases.
