Country Music News International Song of the Week

Country Music News International Song of the Week

Hello!  And welcome to my first column for Country Music International.  I’m Camo, one of the hosts of Nashville Access.

Kicking
off 2017 as one of Front Stage Magazine’s “Top 10 Sexy Men of
Nashville,” Travis Rice shows fans his rugged allure with the release of
his sultry single, Don’t Waste The Rain.
What
is set to be the sexiest country song of 2017, Travis is also scheduled
to release a steamy music video to the song on Friday, February 3,
2017.
This song portrays
the sensual side of Travis, immersing himself fully into the passionate
lyrics while still showing his signature bold and baritone vocals with
his pitch-perfect delivery.
Written
by Rice and produced by Noah Henson (producer for Kane Brown and
guitarist for Brantley Gilbert), this single follows his most recent
success with his previously released songs Women,
Water and Beer and fan-favorite When The Fish Didn’t Bite. Travis wants
fans to know that this song, like all of his, come from his own
personal story. “This is once again just a snapshot into my heart and
soul. I love nothing more than wasting away a rainy
weekend with a special someone, having no reason to ever leave the
bedroom.”
I was really impressed with the song, which, I
think, will please the more traditionalists in country music, as well
as those who like a more contemporary sound.  Travis took part in his
first CMA Music Festival last year, and has shared
the stage with artists including Colt Ford, Craig Morgan, Randy Travis,
and Travis Tritt.  I think Travis Rice is going to have a very big
2017.
Have a great week—and thanks for reading!
