About Rick Stanley:

From the small town of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. He grew up singing in church with his Mother & Grandmother. Started playing country music in 1977 after seeing the Wright Brothers Overland Stage Company perform. Started writing songs around 1977 and have written several hundred songs and continues to write songs. Had several bands through the years, The Cardboard Cowboy Band, The Bandit Band, Shotgun and finally Lookout Mountain. Lookout Mountain was extremely successful in Germany. They were fortunate to be the supplemental music for big name country artists performing in Europe. Chris LeDoux, Martina McBride, The Bellamy Brothers, Charlie Daniels Band & many others. Lookout Mountain was sponsored by Jack Daniels for 9 years. Lookout Mountain released an album in 1998 titled “Country Ambassadors” that did extremely well in Europe. Most of his music is strictly on line now. He continue to write songs and have a continuing musical presence on YouTube with his “Couch Concerts”. Music is his passion…

Charlie Robison Life Of The Party By Tom Bomb for Country Music News International

Texas singer/songwriter Charlie Robison was born on September 1, 1967, in Houston, Texas, and was raised in the town of Bandera. Robison would start writing his own music in his teens but after sustaining a devastating knee injury while playing football at Southwest Texas State University, he would pursue his music full-time.

Sam Grow Makes His Grand Ole Opry Debut!

Average Joes Entertainment artist Sam Grow stepped onto the stage of the Grand Ole Opry for the first time! Saturday night November 27, 2021, after being introduced by Opry host Mike Terry. As he stood in the famed inner circle, Grow performed his breakthrough hit, “Song About You,” followed by an acoustic version of “Go Right Now,” an emotional song he wrote for his father who passed away in 2018.

CD Review: Scott Southworth – Hey HillBilly Singer! One Night Only! by Matt Belyea for Country Music News International

Hey Hillbilly Singer a.k.a. Scott Southworth, an award winning honky-tonker who resides in Nashville and has this release garnered him a Academy of Western Artists Award for Pure Country Artist of the Year & Song of the Year nominations. The musicianship on this is top notch with stellar performances of classic country instruments; fiddle, pedal steel guitar and some really great guitar playing. The vocals of Scott are beyond perfect, and the songs are familiar in the BR5-49 /Junior Brown and dare I say a tenor Randy Travis sort of way.

Years ago, the editor of Country Music News International, Christian Lamitschka, hosted the Country Music News International Radio Show together with Lutz Adam, who passed away recently.

The radio show, which has 1 million online listeners a year and is simulcast on FM radio, will now also be available in German and English on Mondays.
