Judy Lynn, Dick Flood, Fred Carter Jr. and Don Wright – The Hellbound Train – Radio station after radio station began banning the song!
My first release on Epic would be “The Hellbound Train” backed with “Judy Lynn”, a song I had co-written with Fred Carter Jr. and Don Wright. Epic planned to release it during the up and coming annual disc jockey convention held in Nashville in November each year. Columbia always provided a luncheon during which each Columbia and Epic recording artist would sing his or her latest release.

Tim Atwood has been somewhat of an enigma in that he has played with nearly everyone who is anyone in country music over his several decades of playing on the Opry, but his solo albums have been a mix of styles and genres and guest performers and while all of the songs stood well on their own the albums as a whole fell flat and far short of a true representation of Tim’s talent and abilities.

CD Review: Ben Reel – Nashville Calling by Joanna Demee for Country Music News International
Today I started off my day, I wouldn’t say quite well, as I have lots of deadlines for my university, and what do I do? – Quite obvious, as I decided to focus elsewhere (reviewing) so I could feel a bit more relieved. Sometimes I study my own books, which I enjoy, and some other times I do other stuff to keep me busy rather than try to focus on my tasks to let my mind fly away and not stress too much; as 10<chapters/3books, I would probably read them passively. I normally begin to write before I start listening to songs, and I go step by step so everybody can follow the ups/downs of the music journey I am in. So far, I have read about Ben Reel, but not listened to him just yet. Therefore, I hope that some rock will calm me down and give me the energy to go back and study, so find the album and accompany me if you like.
