Wilson Banjo & Co on Country Music News International Radio Show!

In 2014, Steve recorded an EP in his home studio, to promote the sound that his Wilson Custom Banjo gets, involving several musician friends from the Westminster, SC region where he lives. The EP, “The Guardian,” named for the banjo model, began to garner some attention on radio, and that’s when he decided to put the Wilson Banjo Co. band together for a second album. “Spirits In The Hills” was picked up in 2017 by Bonfire Records, the sister label for major bluegrass label Pinecastle Records, located in Greenville, SC. Also during that time, Steve Wilson was hired as the Lead Recording Engineer and Producer for the Bonfire Recording Studio, available to the public as well as label signed artists. Steve has since recorded hit records for Dale Ann Bradley, Flashback, Gena Britt, The King James Boys, Shawn Lane & Richard Bennett, the Jake Bartley Band, and many more.

Currently the band has released three of five singles from a 2023 EP on Pinecastle Records and has also begun pre-production on their new full length band album due out in late 2024.

Eddie Sanders Interview By Big Al Weekley for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

Eddie Sanders is a world-class Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist from McAlester, Oklahoma. Eddie was born into southwest bluegrass royalty, and his father is legendary bluegrass festival and concert promoter, Freddie Sanders. The Sanders Family Bluegrass Festival in McAlester was one of the biggest and best bluegrass festivals west of the Mississippi, and one of the favorite venues for bluegrass acts Bill Monroe, The Osborne Brothers, Lewis Family, Jim & Jesse, Ralph Stanley and nearly every major bluegrass act of the last 40 years. The McAlester festivals were shaped and guided by his major bluegrass influences: Mac Wiseman, Larry Sparks and The Osborne Brothers. He also developed the professionalism that he learned from the best acts in the business, and also learned the power of a song and a love for original material. Eddie was also strongly influenced by Merle Haggard and Gene Watson and soon started writing his own songs.

The Kentucky native also saw viral success on TikTok when a video clip for past release “Right Girl Wrong Time” prompted her female-dominated following to jump quickly and is now at almost 400k followers. The clip itself has been viewed over 7 million times. She has had a string of successful single releases dating back to 2018, She has amassed over 14 million streams on her music.

Ty Herndon has lived a life and career of extreme highs and lows and for the first time brings his full journey from darkness to light and back again to his music with JACOB, a new album of highly personal songs touching on themes ranging from addiction, recovery, and mental fitness to lost love, self-discovery and personal freedom.

Herndon burst onto the country music scene and made his chart debut in 1995 with “What Mattered Most,” which became his first No. 1 song and garnered a Song of the Year award (Music Row Magazine). It was also the title track to his first album, which debuted on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and had the biggest first-week shipment in the history of Epic Records Nashville.

Between 1995 and 2002, Herndon charted 17 singles, including his three No.1s and numerous top 10 hits, such as “I Want My Goodbye Back,” “Loved Too Much,” “A Man Holding On,” and “Hands of a Working Man.” He topped the charts in 1996 with the single “Living in a Moment” and again in 1998 with “It Must Be Love.”

Lauded by MusicRow as a “master country talent,” Dalton Dover’s latest release Take Me Home: Covers showcases his roots and influences growing up in Georgia. His debut radio single “Giving Up On That” via UMG Nashville/Mercury Records was the most-added track at Country Radio upon its debut with 60 first week adds and can be found on his latest EP Never Giving Up On That, featuring eight tracks including “Night To Go,” “Baby I Am,” “Hear About A Girl,” and more. Named a 2024 Tidal Artist to Watch, Pandora 2023 Artist to Watch, an Amazon Music 2023 Breakthrough Artist to Watch: Country Class and a member of CMT’s LISTEN UP 2023 Class, he will embark on his headlining Never Giving Up On That Tour in early 2024. Dover made his Grand Ole Opry debut in December 2022, followed by his international debut in 2023 at C2C: Country to Country Festival’s CMA Songwriters Series before joining Chase Rice on the Way Down Yonder Tour. Trinity Faith is a 22-year-old Singer, Songwriter, and Musician born and raised in Tampa, Florida.

She knew that music was her passion from an early age and wanted to use her gift to bring joy to others. It started with performing at charity functions, including events like “No Kid Go Hungry,” fallen officer tributes, national anthems performances for the University of Florida, NASCAR In Daytona Florida, University of South Florida, NBA Orlando Magic, MLB Tampa Bay Rays, and much much more.

“Music has always been an outlet for me, a safe place to share my thoughts, feelings, and emotions. There is something so beautiful and incomparable about creating songs and being able to experience that with others — it feels like sharing a piece of your heart with the world. I hope my music resonates with listeners and they feel inspired, hopeful, and encouraged. I am so grateful for this gift that God has given me.”

Her faith, relationship with the Lord, and her family’s support will always be the rock and core of her life and will continue to be the light on her path.

She released three singles in 2020. “Just Me” and “South Coast Highway,” were released in 2022.
