Two-time ACM “New Female Vocalist” nominee RaeLynn continues to carve her unique lane in country music with her gift for storytelling through songwriting, accented by a one-of-a-kind, electric personality. Her most recent 2023 release

“It’s Happening Right Here” is the human trafficking awareness featured title track from the Original Documentary by Operation Underground Railroad. She released multiple new songs in 2022 including “I Love My Hometown,” “If God Took Days Off,” and “Raisin’ Me A Country Girl,” amassing over ONE BILLION total career streams which includes “God Made Girls,” “Lonely Call,” and “Queens Don’t.”

Her recent release Broken One has been a fan favorite on TikTok which garnered countless requests for the full track after posting a teaser:

“The idea behind this song stemmed from thinking about life after being raised in a divorced home. What happens after the “Love Triangle”? That’s Broken One– finding a love that can break a cycle. I truly believe that God can fix, heal and restore. I have so many friends that grew up like me and found an everlasting love. I love the realness of this song. I teased it in December ’22 and fans shared it over and over– I knew we had something special.”

Her 2021 independently-released full-length album BAYTOWN has earned over 100 MILLION global streams and is the full expansion of her 2020 EP of the same name, which scored high-profile features with PEOPLE, American Songwriter, and Entertainment Tonight and was lauded as “a confident, joyous effort” (Billboard) that’s “equally tender-hearted and fiercely fun” (The Tennessean).

BAYTOWN followed RaeLynn’s widely praised debut WILDHORSE which arrived at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart (only one of ten albums to ever do this) and was recognized among the best Country albums of 2017 by Rolling Stone, UPROXX and Stereogum.

RaeLynn has both GOLD (“Love Triangle”, “Lonely Call”) and PLATINUM (“God Made Girls”) singles to her name and 2.5 MILLION followers across her engaging online platforms. Past touring includes Kane Brown’s BLESSED & FREE TOUR and she has previously shared the stage with Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert, and Blake Shelton.

Her star continues to rise after becoming the first country face to represent the global beauty brand Too Faced and made her acting debut in the Hallmark Channel’s “A Nashville Christmas Carol.”

Her devotion to her family and her faith, along with her passion for her values and her country run deep with her husband and brother formerly being in the military as Green Beret’s (Special Forces.) Since becoming a mother in September 2021, her outlook on life has been enriched with growing a family and leaving a legacy of purpose.

Tayler Holder Interview by Big Al Weekley for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

Holder followed up this excitement from his fans with his latest release “Marry You” on January 27th following an exclusive premiere with Holler. This love song is ripe for being a Valentine’s Day favorite as Holder describes it, “I wrote this song about meeting an individual and falling in love with them. Finding someone I can spend those special moments with for the rest of my life. Getting married and starting a family has always been something I’ve wanted, and I think this song exemplifies that. I truly can’t wait till I meet the girl that makes this come true for me and I hope that my audience can feel the same emotions I do when I hear this song.”

T. Graham Brown Interview by Big Al Weekley for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

It was one of the most vibrant and exciting time periods in Country Music history – the mid-1980s. A new and exciting crop of talents were springing up all over the place – and T. Graham Brown remembers it like it was yesterday.

Brown’s initial entry to Country Radio was the sad and soulful “Drowning In Memories.” That Top-40 single helped him to establish himself, and by the winter of 1986, he had warmed up to audiences with the bluesy hit “I Tell It Like It Used To Be.” Other hits quickly followed, with his first self-penned release “Hell And High Water,” which became his first number one song. “I Wish That I Could Hurt That Way Again” and “Don’t Go To Strangers” were the next releases, which all became chart-toppers.

The soulful vocal stylings of T. Graham Brown were all over the airwaves, as his sophomore release Brilliant Conversationalist added more titles to his arsenal of hits, such as the seductive “The Last Resort,” and “She Couldn’t Love Me Anymore.” It was a time period that Brown sums up as something of a blur.

Steve Yanek by Big Al Weekley for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

Sometimes, the pursuit of art and expression seems almost predetermined. It’s almost as if the person creating it was destined to do it, and that the results were simply a matter of fate and good fortune.

Singer/songwriter Steve Yanek knows that feeling all too well. His new self-produced album, September — recorded wholly on his own, and set for release August 25th on his own Primitive Records label — is the latest expressive example of how his drive and determination continues to compel him to make music, even when circumstance might determine otherwise. It follows on the heels of the aptly titled Long Overdue, released last summer to rave reviews. That album spent 10 weeks on the Roots Americana charts last fall and went on to top both the Americana and Country charts in Cashbox two weeks in a row. In addition, the two singles it spawned secured the top spots on the singles charts, climbing to the number one and number two chart positions on two separate singles listings.

SpringStreet Interview By Big Al Weekley for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

SpringStreet started in 1990 as a dream of members Mike Williams and Dan Nieto. They had gone to see Bill Monroe & The Bluegrass Boys perform at The Auditorium in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Inspired by this performance to start a musical career of their own, they chose the band name “SpringStreet” after the city street where The Auditorium was located. More than thirty years later, SpringStreet is still going strong entertaining folks all over the country. Members now include Nick Alberty (mandolin / lead vocals), Steve Huhn (upright bass), Rick Morton (fiddle / vocals), along with original members Mike Williams (banjo / vocals) and Dan Nieto (guitar / lead vocals). They have also been an award winning band as a group and as individuals.

Tyler Ramsey Interview By Big Al Weekley for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

At the core of any great singer-songwriter lies this inherent trait of stage presence, one where an entire room, no matter the size, is pulled in by this lyrical tractor beam — all eyes, emotions and energies aimed in one direction at a single voice.

For Tyler Ramsey, it’s being able to honestly connect with the listener, whether it be a packed room amid a live show or just someone throwing on his melodies in their own time and space.

Albeit a genuinely humble soul, don’t let Ramsey’s words fool you. When it comes to the modern-day singer-songwriter, Ramsey remains a bastion of musical talent and lyrical aptitude — a melodic voice-of-reason and safe haven amid a 21st century world seemingly gone mad. The former lead guitarist of Band of Horses, Ramsey has also released four acclaimed solo albums, including “For The Morning” in 2019.

Southbound 75 Interview by Big Al Weekley for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

Southbound 75 has achieved remarkable success in a very short time in the country music industry. In a truly extraordinary encounter, music legend Prince once asked Mark Lorenzo backstage at Cincinnati’s Music Hall, “Do you believe the cream will rise to the top?” Mark confidently responded affirmatively, to which Prince assured him, “Then you have nothing to worry about.”

At Southbound 75’s shows, it’s a common occurrence when more people dance to the band’s original songs than the cover songs. This speaks to the infectious energy they bring to the stage and the undeniable appeal of their music.

Sharing the stage with famous artists like Bailey Zimmerman, Lainey Wilson, Jordan Davis, Jimmy Allen, and Chase Matthews, Southbound 75 has solidified their position among the country music up-and-comers. Their talent and artistry have garnered them considerable recognition, leading to airplay of their latest single, “That Summer,” in the United States on the syndicated show “New Country Brew” and internationally on the X Sussex

RYN Interview by Big Al Weekley for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

A self-described “regular person” with a larger-than-life voice, RYN makes music for the everyman. She sings about miscommunication and forgiveness in the digital world (“Signs”); of not settling for less than she deserves (“Drive Thru”); and finding a way out, even when you feel like you can’t get out (“Fall Like Rain”). Inspired by the likes of Dolly Parton and Jelly Roll, RYN imbues in her songs a spirit of empowerment and liberation. She tackles mental health and battling her inner demons, opting to embrace life’s hard truths rather than shy away or sugarcoat them.

Her latest single, “Helluva Ride,” is RYN’s first self-written track and charts her own journey of rediscovery – serving as a reminder to all who need to take that first big step into the great unknown. It’s a prescient song – she wrote it before she made the move to Alabama – and one that speaks volumes about who she is and where she’s going next.

Razzy Bailley Interview by Big Al Weekley for Country Music News International Magazine & Radio Show

Razzy’s name is and was always one to be noted alongside his many diverse musical friends and often recording partners like the great Dobie Grey, Delbert McClinton, Johnny Cash, folk legend Richie Havens, Steve Cropper and KISS member Peter Kris. Like many veteran artists, his talent in the songwriting arena equals the recognition he’s received as a performer that shatters country music’s borders and stereotypes. His songs have been recorded by legends such as Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Mickey Gilley, Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood, Steve Cropper, Dickey Lee, and Ricochet. Outside the US, Razzy’s songs have an unprecedented staying power as Thai artist Bird Thongchai had a hit in 2008 with Razzy’s signature 9,999,999 Tears. Thongchai molded the country single into a Latin dance mix proving that great songwriting transcends musical and, cultural borders. “When I wrote that song, I actually had more of an upbeat version in mind so it was great to see an artist finally take the song that direction. There have been excellent versions across the globe and it’s always flattering when people translate the song into their language.
