Country Music News International at Sobro Guest House in Nashville
The Sobro Guest House does not deliver what it promises!
The trip to Nashville, TN for the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) was meticulously planned. The flight, car and accommodation booked! Interviews arranged with many stars of country and bluegrass music.
On arrival and checking in to the Sobro Guest House, 310 Peabody St, Nashville, TN 37210, which has its own parking lot, the disillusionment began. The apartment turned out to be run down.
When the sofa bed was opened, hair from the previous guest was found and there was a large hole in the ceiling. The sofa bed about as comfortable as a camping bed.
The next day when using the shower, the sliding door of the shower left little room to shower. Luckily, the shower door handles did not fall off. On the lower base an undefined adhesive or something similar can be seen. The tiles in the bathroom were looked moldy. The vanity cabinet is scratched. The bathroom door had “pimples”.
The list goes on indefinitely in the living room and bedroom. But photos say more than a thousand words. The icing on the cake was that there was a major construction site next to the Sobro Guest House which was not mentioned when booking the hotel. With accommodation priced at nearly $2,000 for 8 nights, I expect to get perfect accommodations and also be informed about a major construction site across the street. I was not a happy camper.
