Country Music Association of Australia Achiever Awards reignite

November 2024 after a extremely long hiatus sees the Country Music Association of Australia relaunch the Achiever Awards. The Achiever Awards are non competitive awards which are a celebration of both current contemporary and legacy achievements within the Country Music industry within Australia. These awards are presented at a special industry award ceremony upon Saturday 23rd November at JMC Academy within Syndey NSW.
The following awards and award winning recipients for 2024 are as listed :

Legacy Artist – Bill Chambers
Legacy Songwriter – Graeme Connors
Legacy Musician – Lawrie Minson
Legacy Industry – Barbara Morison
CONTEMPORARY AWARDS :
Contemporary Achiever – Cheryl Brown
Media Achiever – Sophie Hamley
Young Achiever – Piper Butcher
Musician of the Year – Damian Cafarella
Songwriter of the Year – Allan Caswell
Creative Industries – Msquared Productions
The Achiever Awards are no doubt a remarkable opportunity to thank these award recipients for their input into what makes our Australian Country Music industry so special & unique. The Legacy Awards showcase some of the influential people that have helped shape what is a vibrant CMAA today in our modern era where there is so much diversity within the industry. The Legacy Award recipients are a bunch of amazingly talented people in their own right that have had an ongoing influence upon our Country Music Industry within Australia for some length of time. Definitely all well deserved and congratulations to all winners. We applaud you all for your contributions in your area/s of expertise.
The Contemporary Awards showcase some hard working people that have done incredible things within the last 12 months, believe you me it doesn’t go unnoticed your achievements & also applaud each one of you for a stellar year that you have had. Australian Country Music as a whole is a showing amazing growth and the talent is second to none on many levels.
