Featured On Billboard.com, Single Moves To #17 on MusicRow Chart & Midnite Jamboree Debut Set for September 14
Nashville, TN (September 5, 2013) — Country duo BRANCH & DEAN are
gaining momentum following the recent signing of a management contract
with Erv Woolsey.  Fans can read about the Florida natives in Chuck
Dauphin’s current
BILLBOARD.com “The 615” feature.  Their new single, “The Dash,” is charging up the MusicRow chart
at #17 this week.  The jump from 18 to 17 marks the first time an Indie
act has broken that barrier since the new panels were put in place.
Bookings continue to flow in, and BRANCH & DEAN will make their
debut on the world-famous
Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree Radio Show on September 14.
The duo, comprised of Steve Branch and Dean Scallan, is definitely feeling the energy upswing.
“A total vibe-changer,” laughs Branch.  “And a welcome one.”  The
high-energy act, known for their exhilarating live performances, has
been working hard promoting “The Dash” on a six-week national radio tour.  The song is a tribute to Steve’s only son, Theron Steven William Branch,
who passed away on March 15, 2013 following a long struggle with Cystic
Fibrosis.  A portion of the proceeds from the single will go to the
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Reviewers are calling “The Dash”
“Imaginative and emotionally valid.”
– Robert K. Oermann, MusicRow
“What
a powerful performance. It’s one thing for an artist to feel a
connection to the music, but to make everyone else in the room feel
those same emotions is really something special.”
– Amanda-Marie Castillo, WJXT-TV
“Seems to hit our listeners right where it hurts, right in the heart.  It’s definitely a record your listeners will react to.” – Bryan Rhodes, WZKX-FM (Kicker 108)
“Every
listen to “The Dash” not only makes me reflect on my life but inspires
me to be a better person. When it’s done, it makes me want to hear it
again.”
– Ryan McCall, WGLR-FM
