Core Panel Moderators Announced For
Country Radio Seminar 2015
 
(Nashville, Tenn. – Aug. 26, 2014)  The core panel moderators have been announced for Country Radio Seminar 2015
Collectively, the core moderators will oversee and direct the bulk of
the educational panels throughout the seminar, which will be held Feb.
25-27 inside the downtown Nashville Convention Center. 
The CRS 2015 core moderators are Beverlee Brannigan (Vice President of Programming for Journal Broadcast Group) Erica Farber (President and CEO of Radio Advertising Bureau/New York), Dan Halyburton (Falls Media Group), Lon Helton (Editor and Publisher, Country Aircheck/Nashville) and Gregg Lindahl (40-year radio veteran).
“Our development of the core panel of moderators has led to exceptional panel discussions over the past four years,” stated CRS Executive Director, Bill Mayne
“These individuals have been gracious and giving in sharing their
talents of facilitation in delivering meaningful panel ‘take away’
results for all attendees!”
Beverlee Brannigan
is Vice President of Programming for Journal Broadcast Group. She also
serves as General Manager of Journal’s Wichita cluster, including
legendary country station KFDI.  Beverlee was inducted into the Country
Radio Hall of Fame in 2012.
Erica Farber
is the President and CEO of Radio Advertising Bureau.  Most recently,
she was the CEO of The Farber Connection LLC, a firm she founded in
2010.  During her fifteen year tenure at Radio & Records, Farber
held various positions including COO, President, Publisher and CEO. In
2000, she received an American Broadcast Pioneer Award from the
Broadcasters’ Foundation and has consistently been voted one of “The
Most Influential Women in Radio” by the readers of Radio Ink Magazine.
Dan Halyburton
has 44 years of service in radio. He has been a pioneer in country
radio programming, management and digital media. He is a member of the
Country Radio Hall of Fame and the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. Halyburton
is a member of the ownership team for Falls Media Group with FMs in
Wichita Falls, Texas. 
Lon Helton’s
42-year industry career began as a disc jockey in Monmouth, IL.  He has
been named the CMA’s National Broadcast Personality of the Year six
times and ACM National Broadcast Personality of the Year three times. He
has also hosted a variety of nationally syndicated Country radio shows
since 1984, including Country Close-up, Nashville Live, Country Star Traks and Listen In. For the last 22 years, he has hosted WestwoodOne’s Country Countdown USA and Country’s Inside Trak,
while also hosting Country specials for a variety of syndicators.
Helton is also the Editor and Publisher of Country Aircheck. He was
inducted into the Country Music DJ Hall of Fame in 2006.
Gregg Lindahl
retired from a 40-year media career that began as a country music DJ at
age 15, and ended as Senior Vice President for Digital and Strategy at
Cox Media Group.  Lindahl programmed country stations in Nashville and
Oklahoma City; he managed stations in Charlotte, Dallas, Portland and
Chicago.  He led a consumer market research company and an Internet
start-up.  He is a past CMA Board Member.  Since retiring, he has become
an inadvertent consultant to a handful of digital start-ups and is an
angel investor.
Country
Radio Seminar is the world’s largest Country radio event.  The event is
always packed full of great performances, educational seminars,
