COLLEEN TAYLOR JOINS THE BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP AS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
From A College Education To An Exciting Career Choice
Nashville, TN (May 31, 2011) – The Big Machine Label Group got even bigger today as CEO/President, Scott Borchetta, announced the addition of Colleen Taylor as Administrative Assistant.
The Connecticut native and recent Belmont University grad is no stranger to the label, having proved herself as an intern extraordinaire in both the Royalties & Licensing as well as in the A&R Department. In Taylor’s newly-created position, she will provide day-to-day scheduling and organizational support, facilitating increased efficiency and effectiveness for Borchetta and the label group.
“Colleen is an extremely smart & talented young lady who is a great addition to our team. The building fell in love with her while she was an intern and made sure we didn’t let her get away!” said Borchetta.
Gaining vital experience throughout her four years in Nashville, she also served as an Administrative Assistant at the Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business and held the Vice President and Treasurer roles with Belmont Service Corps. These positions afforded her the opportunity to work with the GRAMMY Awards, CMT Music Awards, CRS, NSAI’s Tin Pan South and Next Big Nashville.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be working for the Big Machine Label Group. Scott Borchetta has put together a phenomenally talented team that continues to break the mold in this industry, and I am honored to be a part of it,” said Taylor.
