Codie Prevost Nominated for 2012 CCMA

    Independent country recording artist Codie Prevost has been nominated for the prestigious “Rising Star” award at the upcoming 2012 Canadian Country Music Awards. For the second year in a row Prevost will be representing his home province of Saskatchewan at the awards as a “Rising Star” contender.
    “To be nominated for a CCMA in my home province for “Rising Star” is truly an honor and definitely one of the biggest highlights in my career thus far. I’m
grateful for all the opportunities that have come my way, I’ve got an
amazing team, dedicated fans & the support of some great people
right across the country” says Prevost.
    Recently Prevost signed a deal with “Big Air Entertainment” who is also nominated at the 2012 CCMA Awards for “Booking Agent of the Year”.
   
The 2012 CCMA Awards will be broadcast live on CBC Television from
Credit Union Centre on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 8 p.m. (8:30 p.m.
NT) – with encore airings on CMT (Canada) starting at 10 p.m. ET.
