The names of the nominees are in, and country music sensation Codie
Prevost’s dedication to his fans has once again earned him a place on
the list of country music’s elite for the third time.
Saskatoon, SK, July 17, 2013: Codie Prevost has been nominated for
the 2013 CCMA Award for “Interactive Artist of the Year”. He earned the
nomination due to his exceptional relationship with his fans. Every
Tuesday, the country music star’s dedication is apparent as he takes to
twitter to talk directly with his followers. His twitter presence
coupled with amazing charisma on facebook (as well as other social
media) has earned him this nomination.
The CCMA describes the “Interactive Artist of the Year” as one who
executes excellence on social media. It is for that reason Prevost’s
nomination was imminent.
Recently, the “Last Night All Day” songster was on twitter chatting
with fans about everything including fishing, life, and his recent
marriage. That kind of personal relationship is what Prevost’s
personality exemplifies. He says his music is more about giving back
than anything else.
“I feel very fortunate to be able to connect with my fans one on one
thru social media” explains Prevost. “Every week I look forward to the
Tuesday Night Twitter Party so that I can catch up with everyone.”
This is not the first time Prevost has had his hat in the ring at the
CCMA Awards. He was nominated for both the 2011 and 2012 “Rising Star”
Award as well. The talent and personality this artist possesses will
assuredly bring him more success in the future.
